When the Fulton County, Georgia grand jury decides whether or not to indict Donald Trump, it will consider what crimes to indict him for. Recent reports indicate they are likely to consider the following charges:
solicitation to commit election fraud
conspiracy to commit election fraud
solicitation of a public officer to fail to perform their duties
solicitation to destroy, deface, or remove ballots
racketeering charges, under the Georgia RICO statute.
The grand jury will have to review the already-existing special grand jury report and decide whether to charge Donald Trump, as well as other allies who were involved in, among other things, (1) a phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, asking him to “find” more than 11,000 votes, (2) accessing voting machines and copying highly sensitive election data in Coffee county, Georgia, and (3) the fake elector scheme.
